One of the major goals of AWC is women safety and protection of women rights. During the pandemic an effective intervention in this field was difficult. But we were successful in our online campaign - "Violence free home". The campaign was against domestic violence. With the tag line "Silence Allows Violence" we launched the campaign from November 25th, 2020 - International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women to December 10th, 2020 - Human Rights Day. The Campaign was inaugurated by Ettumanoor MLA. Adv. Suresh Kurup, (Political member) by recording his first vote for the campaign. Almost 2000 individuals cast their vote and feedbacks to show their solidarity towards the campaign. It was a new experience for us.
