A bamboo house was constructed for Mrs. Raji Manoj's family as their house was fully destroyed during the 2018 flood. With the salary challenge of the staff of AWC the bamboo house was constructed with the combination of bamboo and Ferro cement technology. The house and the technology used for this construction become popular in the society. It is an eco-friendly house and it is flood resistant and local materials are used for construction. Our friend from the Netherlands gave the technical guidance and our Technical Manager Ms. Jayasree P K, Radhika - head mason and Omana - head carpenter took over the work.
