International Trades women Training and Exchange Delegation

A team of 13 women of US Trade Women's Union, who are construction skilled workers, visited AWC to study the works carried out by our women such as plumbing, wiring, carpentry, masonry, construction of house with Ferro-cement and bamboo technology and also to exchange their skills between them. The 13 member team visited AWC from 2nd to 8th November 2019. Both the parties interchange their knowledge between them by visiting different work site where AWC women workers are engaged in different nontraditional works. This international training exchange was inaugurated by Sri. Mons Joseph MLA and the exhibition organized by AWC inaugurated by Sri. Suresh Kurup MLA. The representatives of LINSFED interacted with the delegates and exchanged their ideas of involving women in different trades. On 7th of November 2019 MG University Vice Chancellor Dr. Sabu Thomas, M.P Sri. Jose .K. Mani, District Panchayat President Sri. Sebastian Kulathumkal, Block Panchayat President Smt. Beena Binu, World Malayali Association Spokeman president Sri. Shanty Mathew met the delegates and interacted with them. MP, Sri. Jose K Mani, unveil the statue build as a remembrance of this international delegation. Many other well-wishers of Archana Women’s Centre took part in it.
